Trouble for babies if pregnant mother take drinks
Women who quaff drinks during pregnancy are in for a bumpy ride bringing up their children. The higher the number of drinks being tossed back, the greater the risk of having badly behaved children, say researchers at Indians University, USA. Fighting, bullying and being and being disrespectful are just the tip of the iceberg, with developmental problems called fetal alcohol syndrome, also of the package for children of heavy drinkers. Lead researchers Brian D’Onofrio say it’s because alcohol affects areas o the developing brain which govern behavior.
