It’s also just what the doctor ordered to hit the fast track to recovery after treatment for breast cancer, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, and boost the energy levels of menopausal women. A study by scientists at Duke University of California, San Francisco, also found that menopausal women practicing yoga had a 30% decrease in hot flushes, less anxiety and sexual discomfort. And as if the list weren’t exhaustive enough, people with depression had a 27% improvement in their mood, according to the Boston university school of Medicine, USA.
